About Shrutanshi

As a trained Writing Mentor, I’m passionate about helping students find their voice and succeed in English with clarity and confidence. With a strong background in academic and creative writing, I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to every lesson. About the lesson

My teaching style is student-centred and interactive, aiming to build both skills and confidence in English. I tailor each session to suit the individual needs of the student, whether it’s strengthening essay structure, improving creative writing, or mastering text analysis. I use a mix of discussion-based learning, annotated exemplars, and scaffolded writing tasks to help students think critically and write clearly.

Each lesson typically runs for 60 minutes and includes a quick review of the previous session, guided learning on a specific focus area, and short independent tasks with feedback.

As a writing mentor with experience supporting students across a range of abilities, I bring a deep understanding of what makes writing effective and meaningful. I’ve helped students sharpen their arguments, polish essays, and approach assessments with clarity and strategy.

My lessons are ideal for English students (Years 6–10) but also suit higher-level students in Years 11–12 looking to build strong foundations in writing and comprehension.
