About Rita
I worked at an after school program for 2 years as the lead teacher. I provided tutoring for those students as well as fun filled STEM activities. I also worked in the school place setting as a substitute teacher and I am currently still on the list to do so. Prior to achieving my BAS degree in Elementary Education and Masters in Special Education; I worked alongside many teachers and professionals as a paraprofessional in West Virginia schools for ten years. This has provided me the background that was needed to farther my career in education.

I have a Masters Degree in Special Education. My experience has come from prior work experiences. Those experiences have enriched my life to make me a better teacher with experience in helping those who are need. I have helped many students in my beginning career in the classroom of students with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
My characteristics as a teacher, I have expectations for myself as well as my students. Which majority of the time can be reached by my students who apply themselves fully into the lessons that are provided. I am easy to get along with as long as the student is trying to their full potential.
