My approach to learning varies from student to student. We should talk about what it is that you want to achieve and work out the best approach. I have been teaching for 25 years. I taught marketing and business at university level for 10 years and have been teaching English for 15 years. I taught English to adults and children in Hong Kong for 12 years. In some instances this was about language skills such as grammar, spelling, pronunciation etc, whereas for other students we read and discussed books and also looked at subjects that they were taking at school such as math, history and geography. At present, I teach online (based in Sydney). I teach writing skills to university students, workplace English skills to immigrants, and help primary and secondary students with their English comprehension.

Perfect! We’ve been very happy with Nick as our son’s English tutor. He is calm, patient, and knowledgeable, and quickly builds strong connections with his students.
Our son has made excellent progress, especially in writing and expressing his ideas more clearly and confidently. Nick identifies areas for improvement and works on them in a supportive, encouraging way.
We were so pleased with his teaching that he now also tutors our daughter, helping her develop her reading, comprehension, and love of books- Thank you for your kind comments. It is a pleasure to spend time with both Anton and Helena.Nick's response :
