About Shiva
I am an experienced international primary school teacher with a background in working across diverse classrooms and supporting students from a wide range of cultural and language backgrounds. I have taught in different countries and specialize in helping students build confidence in English while keeping up with academic expectations.
My experience includes working within the IB framework and supporting students at different stages of their learning journey, particularly those developing English as an additional language. I focus on creating a supportive, structured environment where students feel comfortable to participate, take risks, and improve.
I believe in building both skills and confidence, helping students not only improve academically but also become more independent and capable learners.

I offer personalized online lessons for primary students, focusing on English language development (EAL), literacy, and building strong academic confidence. As an experienced international school teacher working within the IB framework, I support students from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of English.
My lessons are structured, engaging, and adapted to each child’s needs. I support reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension, while also helping students keep up with school expectations and develop independent learning skills.
I am also familiar with international curricula, including IB and Common Core standards, allowing me to support students across different school systems.
My approach is supportive but structured, with a clear focus on real progress and long-term improvement.
