About Hayden
Hi, I’m Hayden a student at UNSW studying Advanced Computer Science. I know firsthand what it’s like to face challenging subjects and the pressure of exams, so I understand the struggles students go through. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students build confidence and stay motivated. I teach effective study techniques, break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, and encourage active problem-solving so students truly understand the material rather than memorize it. Hi, I’m Hayden. As a 99.95 ATAR graduate with 4 A*s across Mathematics, Further Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science, I provide elite-level tutoring designed for students who want to truly master their subjects.
The A-Level & HSC Advantage
While I specialize in the Cambridge CIE A-Level curriculum, my expertise is a powerful asset for HSC students. Because the A-Level syllabus is more mathematically rigorous and covers topics in significantly greater depth than the HSC, I help Australian students build a foundation that makes HSC content feel intuitive. Whether you are tackling 3U/4U Math or Advanced Physics and Chemistry, I bridge the gap by teaching the higher-level logic that makes standard exam questions easy to dismantle.
My Method: Logic Over Memorization
I don’t believe in rote learning. My 60-minute online sessions focus on first principles. We explore why a formula works, not just how to plug in numbers. By emphasizing logical reasoning and structured problem-solving, I give you the tools to tackle "unseen" problems with confidence—the hallmark of a Band 6 or A* student.
Computer Science & Competitive Programming
