About Jack

Hi there! My name is Jack, and I have been teaching business studies throughout my undergraduate degree. Whether it was helping my friends out on the side, or coaching my teams through multiple projects, I have built up experience helping others engage further with their business studies.

I graduated with a first class honours from King's College London's business school, earning multiple accolades for collaborative and academic merit. I have proven communication skills, as I was elected by the entire cohort to be the keynote graduation speaker, and have extensive experience with presenting information and public speaking. I have won academic awards for my writing ability, and have received commendations from senior managers regarding my ability to help others. My passion for business subjects, combined with my excitement to bolster soft skills, ensures that my students will enjoy a rigorous, collaborative, and compelling environment that will allow them to succeed in and beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is personal and dynamic, working with each student to find their best way to learn. I graduated in the top percentiles of my class, and am excited to help you on your university journey. My lessons are aimed at new undergraduate business students, but also offer classes to those interested in boosting their business or communication skills before university. I have plenty of experience with Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Strategy, and Economics!

I understand the challenges that come with an academic environment, and that everyone learns differently. Together, we will work to find the best way to fully develop your subject understanding, while also building up crucial presentation and writing skills. Remember, one of the most important lessons in university is learning those soft skills, and I will offer coaching for important communications work in addition to the specifics of the subject.

Each lesson will generally be between 45 minutes and an hour, depending on the session. I offer a mix of subject teaching, essay editing, project aid, test prep, and presentation work, coaching with a friendly manner to ensure that you not only understand the material, but also learn to enjoy and apply it. Together, we will ensure that you not only get better grades in classes, but also develop into a wholistic university undergraduate that is ready for the world beyond!
