About Rachel
I initially lost my confidence in English during my first year of secondary school. I got a bad result and thought it was the end of the world. I became determined to improve my English skills, focusing on effectively studying and writing. Soon enough I became one of the top students in the class and finished my Junior Cert with a well-deserved distinction in HL JC English. My experience and passion for the subject will allow me to guide you to a guaranteed improvement in your grade alongside an appreciation for the subject you did not possess beforehand!

My classes will solely focus on results. Classes will consist of essay structure, poetry and quote analysis, creative writing guidance and some comprehension work. Most lessons will be an hour long with exam questions being the main guide. As a TY student all of the Junior Cert material is still very fresh in my mind and I have successfully gotten my own distinction in the subject. I am confident that I can lead you whether in 1st, 2nd or 3rd year to an astounding improvement within JC HL English.
