About Anri
I am miss Anri - a young, vibrant and enthusiastic teacher from South Africa. I have been in teaching for almost 7 years now and specialize in Early Childhood development. I have completed two TEFL courses, a 120 Hour course in Lesson Planning, Lesson Content and Lesson Delivery as well as a 30 Hour course in Advanced Grammar, together with a 120 TESOL course. Furthermore, I studied towards a Bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed) at the Nort-West University in South-Africa and graduated with merits and distinctions in 2021. I am also permanently registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
Professionalism in education, whether in-class or online, encourages a successful learning environment and successful learning, therefore interaction between educators, learners and parents should always be appropriate and respectful to ensure the best possible outcome for learners. I strive to help shape learners into, not only being comfortable, but confident users of the English language, encouraging and guiding them to reach their full potential in a fun and interactive way.

I focus on interactive learning with whole- and small-group instruction which allows me to reinforce skills, work closely with each student and give them the attention they need and deserve. I further make use of play-based learning for younger learners. I am proficient in both Afrikaans and English and a firm believer thereof that one only truly learns and remembers something when it is taught in an enjoyable manner so prepare to have fun while learning. My lessons are aimed at all learners who want to become proficient in English, starting at the beginning with elementary level. I am especially passionate about helping those with special needs.
