About Harriet
I'm Harriet and I'm a TEFL-Certified Royal Holloway graduate. I completed my Teaching English as a Foreign Language course, because linguistics have always been fascinating to me. I also aspire to help people integrate wherever possible, and love helping others with learning English. I have a lot of friends from China who I help regularly on language learning apps, and want to expand my skills through tutoring clients.
I also love learning languages and meeting new people, learning about other cultures, etc!

Hi! My lessons are centred around English speaking skills and listening/reading comprehension. I can give lessons which are 1 hour or 30 minutes long, and I tutor adults at any level.
Your first lesson would be free, and is a chance to introduce yourself whilst I determine what sort of level you are. I'll then assign you a small amount of homework each week (typically watching a video or article based on what we've discussed) and we'll elaborate in our lessons. I aim to create a fun environment where you can learn to speak confidently in English!
