About Sophie
I have worked in elementary schools for the past 4 years, and have been a classroom teacher in first grade for the past two years. I primarily have experience with K-1, although I have spent time providing small group instruction and substitute teaching in grades K-6.
During my two years as a first grade teacher, I have learned how to implement various phonics curriculums, I have gathered and made informed decisions based on data , and I have provided interventions for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 phonics instruction.
