About Abbie
I am a dedicated and reliable tutor who is passionate about helping students build confidence in their reading and writing skills. I am currently a third-year student in the teacher education stream, with experience in elementary classrooms and a strong understanding of different learning styles.

As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident to learn and ask questions. My approach is student-centered, using phonics-based instruction, guided reading, and interactive writing activities to build strong literacy skills.

Having a learning disability myself, I attended a specialized school that helped me develop strong reading and writing skills. This allows me to better understand the challenges students may face and support them with patience, empathy, and effective strategies.
