About Camilia

I am a teacher and student pursuing a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. I have an Honours BSc. in Biology and Health Science as well as a TESOL certification in teaching English as a second language. I used my TESOL certification to teach English classes abroad. I have also been tutoring a variety of different subjects one-on-one including languages, sciences, humanities, and arts for over four years.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is flexible depending on my student/s. Each student has a different learning style, as well as different strengths and weaknesses. For this reason, I cater to the individual depending on their needs. Some students find lecture-style sessions to be most helpful while others prefer to be more engaged, such as being quizzed, attempting to teach back the material, etc.

Notably she is really talented with responding to the students needs and learning styles. She also practices great patience and gives confidence to students who are struggling.
