About Paul

I am a student at the Leonardo da Vinci Higher School of Engineers in Paris-la-Défense, in 4th year, specializing in Data Sciences and Artificial Intelligence. I am also starting a research project on deep understanding of texts and documents, using machine learning algorithms. I have been teaching since 2017, in math and physics, but I want to broaden my teaching field to algorithms and programming in various languages (Python, C #, javascript). I am the ideal teacher for you if: - You like science, but you do not master the basics enough to progress - You have a good mathematical logic, but lack a methodology to work effectively - You are simply motivated to learn, but do not know how to do nor where to start

About the lesson

During my first lesson, I try to probe the level and the personality of the student, there is sometimes an important difference between the perception that one has of oneself and reality. We will therefore discuss our respective experiences, then I will try to confront him with the problems that make it difficult for him to understand the reasons for them. I will then establish areas of progress on which we can work. The following courses will take place a little differently: - We will choose a work theme, generally related to the controls to come - We will start by reviewing the course and the important concepts - Then we will work simple exercises to apply the concepts of course - To finish with a complex problem, calling for a deeper understanding of the theme I try in my teaching to promote understanding on the application: understanding a concept can sometimes take several hours, but once this work is done, no exercise can not be confusing, so I often like to spend time deepening with extra-curricular content, but which allows to better understand where a formula comes from, or what it can actually be used for. This gives more meaning to the work. I also create my own exercises, in addition to those provided by teachers and textbooks, to emphasize the shortcomings of my student, which is why I want to determine in advance the program of a course (2h minimum)
