About Elizabeth
My passion for teaching reading began as a young child, when I would spend summers at the local library reading books that took me to places and worlds far away. That is why I became a reading teacher and college professor, so that I can open the world of literacy to my students and help them in their educational journey. Working with students K-college level is such an honor, and seeing them achieve their goals is so rewarding.
When I am not teaching reading and all things ELA, I am an avid hiker and dog mom to a precious dachshund, Hayward. I look forward to being your teacher and cannot wait to teach you!
