About Frederick
Hi, I’m Freddie! I’m a language enthusiast who has been studying Japanese and Chinese for the past six years. I love helping people discover Japanese, especially those who are completely new to the language. I teach JLPT N5–N4, which covers beginner-level Japanese, so no previous experience is needed! I aim to make lessons relaxed, friendly, and easy to follow, whether you’re learning your first Japanese phrases or working towards your first JLPT qualification. I also volunteer teaching English to non-English-speaking students at local colleges. I recently travelled through Japan, giving me the chance to practise my Japanese and experience the culture first-hand, and I’m planning to spend my gap year continuing my studies and exploring more of Japan!
