About Mary
I have been working in the field of education for the last 16 years. My specialty is in the Early Childhood field. I believe early intervention is the key to helping students. My BA is in Communications and my Masters is in Early Childhood Special Education. I have three teenagers in addition to my teaching experience.

Using different interactive activities I will be able to help your child become a stronger reader. One area developing readers are delayed in is in their phonics and phonemic awareness. We will build their skill level in that area which will grow their confidence in becoming better readers. I have worked with defiant and frustrated students who dislike reading and have pushed away previous help. Creating fun activities that help grow their knowledge and boost their confidence is my passion for developing strong readers.
