About Phoebe
Hello,
I'm Teacher Phoebe. I'm a certified online TEFL English teacher since 2016.
I have a background in corporate and I am a mom which gives me an added advantage to working with children!
Join me in my class so we can learn how to speak English fluently, work on pronunciation and sentence construction, improve reading skills and expand our vocabulary.
For the adult students, my background in corporate as well as being a part of the world's largest adult coaching and mentorship program means that you have an opportunity to tap into intellectual capital and some unique business principles while learning English.

It is always a great idea to start with free chat, an opportunity to connect and practice words and phrases.
I then move into a warm up activity such as Hangman, Tic Tac Toa or Animal Alphabet to engage the student, raise energy levels and set the tone for the lesson.
For younger students, I find that using TPR - Total physical response works very well to help them understand new words. I have some friendly props to help the shy students to engage in the lesson as well as to assist with greeting exchange
I focus on speaking in full sentences, pronunciation, reading skills and sentence construction. We also look at parts of speech such as verbs and adjectives etc
It is so please to witness the improvement that my students have achieved by their conversations and fluency of speech.
