About Claire
I have a BFA in musical theatre and have played several instruments since my youth. I have studied voice science and music theory, and am proficient in many genres of music - classical, jazz, musical theatre, folk, etc. I have been performing consistently and professionally since 2012 for various theatre companies.

My methodology is: work smarter, not harder. Technique is of the upmost importance to achieve musical goals without damage to the musician. I give lessons up to college level voice (especially audition cuts and musical theatre singing) and up to intermediate guitar/ukulele/piano. I will expect students to warm up before a lesson as well as with me at the beginning of each session. We will focus on truly understanding music theory and our instrument. We will work on overall technique as well as repertoire we have decided together is attainable.
