About Shreyan
I tutor Class 11-12 CBSE Economics students preparing for board exams, and college students taking introductory Economics or Statistics papers. My approach is concept-first: I make sure the student actually understands what a concept like elasticity, national income, or market equilibrium means before we drill into past papers and numericals. Sessions are 90 minutes, structured into a quick recap of the previous class, new material with examples drawn from current events and Indian markets, focused problem-solving on board-style questions, and a short review at the end. I share written notes after every session so the student has a clean reference for revision. Since I cleared CBSE Class 12 Economics recently and am now studying Economics at Singapore Management University, I remember exactly which chapters trip students up (looking at you, balance of payments and money supply) and can explain them without jargon. First session is a free 30-minute trial.

Hi, I'm Shreyan. I grew up in Delhi and finished Class 12 CBSE before moving to Singapore for university. I'm currently a first-year Economics student at Singapore Management University, where my coursework covers statistical theory, mathematics for economics, and microeconomics. I'm back home in Delhi NCR for the summer and want to use the time to tutor — partly because teaching is one of the best ways to keep your own understanding sharp, and partly because I remember how much a good tutor mattered to me when I was preparing for boards. My boards experience is recent, so I still know which chapters trip students up, which definitions examiners actually want, and how to make sense of topics that feel dry on paper. I'm patient with doubts and would rather spend ten minutes making sure a concept clicks than rush through for the sake of pace.
