About Karan

I am a senior Electrical Engineering student at NYU, where I have consistently demonstrated academic excellence with top grades, including A's in Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Physics 2. My strong foundation in mathematics is complemented by high scores on several AP exams, including 5s in AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP United States History (APUSH), and AP World History, showcasing my ability to master complex concepts.

Beyond academics, I bring valuable leadership experience from my role as a senator in NYU’s Student Senators Council. Here, I have forged strategic alliances and represented diverse student groups, enhancing my communication and organizational skills. My internship with the Coalition of Hindus of North America and the US India Political Action Committee has further honed my ability to engage with various stakeholders effectively.

I am committed to professionalism and dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment. My goal is to inspire confidence in my students, helping them achieve their academic potential through personalized and practical tutoring methods. With my comprehensive background and hands-on experience, I am well-equipped to assist high school and college students in excelling in math and preparing for exams.

As a senior Electrical Engineering student at NYU with top grades and high AP scores, my approach to tutoring is both structured and engaging. I use a personalized teaching method tailored to each student's needs, ensuring that complex concepts are broken down into understandable parts. A typical lesson plan includes a brief review of previous material, introduction of new concepts, guided practice, and independent problem-solving.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications, making the learning process both meaningful and enjoyable. My lessons are designed for high school to college students, focusing on math and SAT preparation. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also build confidence and a strong foundation for future academic success.
