About Harmony

Hi, I'm a second-year medical student with a passion for science, particularly dermatology and surgery. My interest in medicine stems from a fascination with how the human body works and the incredible science behind health and disease.
I have always enjoyed learning and sharing knowledge with others, which is why I love tutoring. I find it super rewarding to help students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging and to see them develop a deeper understanding of the material. I believe that science becomes much more engaging and exciting when concepts are explained clearly and linked to real-life applications.
As a medical student, I have a strong academic background in Biology and Chemistry and understand the skills needed to succeed in these subjects. I am also familiar with the medical school application process and can provide support with UCAT preparation, personal statements, and interview practice.
My aim is to make lessons enjoyable, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs, helping them achieve their academic goals while developing a genuine interest in the subject.

About the lesson

I am a flexible tutor who tailors each lesson to the individual needs and learning style of my students. I encourage a student-led approach, allowing learners to focus on areas where they need the most support and helping them achieve the best possible outcomes.
My lessons begin with a clear explanation of the key theory, followed by worked examples and practice questions to reinforce understanding and build confidence. I place a strong emphasis on effective knowledge application and developing strong exam technique.
I offer lessons ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour and provide tutoring in:
KS3 Science
GCSE Biology
GCSE Chemistry
UCAT Preparation
UK Medical School Interview Preparation
UK Medical School Personal Statement Support
My goal is to create an engaging and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their understanding, and reaching their full academic potential.

Harmony was honestly one of the best tutors I’ve had. GCSE Biology was a subject I sometimes struggled with because there was so much content, but she explained everything in a way that actually made sense and was easy to remember.

She was always really patient and never minded going over things again if I didn’t understand the first time. I felt comfortable asking questions in her lessons, and she always made sure I understood a topic properly before moving on.

She was also really encouraging and helped build my confidence in Biology a lot. Over time I noticed a big improvement in both my understanding and my results. I’m really thankful for all the help she gave me and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a Biology tutor!!
