About Liam
Hi, I’m Liam I graduated class of 2021 from Knox Grammar school and I’m currently studying a bachelor of engineering and science at UNSW. I enjoy playing rugby and video games as my hobbies. I currently work for an online tutoring company and am currently tutoring a few students privately. Currently, I have seen some tremendous growth in my students, especially with my students who struggled at the start of years 11 and 12.

Typically, each lesson consists of 25-35 mins of content/theory followed by 15-25 mins of questions running for just roughly an hour. My method of teaching is to supply my students with the tools and structures to answer a variety of questions. My teaching style aims to guide the students to the answers rather than telling them in order to help build their confidence and their skill. Overall, my role as a tutor is to help my students so most importantly I listen to my students and focus on what they need help in. Whether that be revising content, help with study techniques, finding relevant questions or just needing help with their homework. I’m currently working for a tutoring company as well as a few students privately, but I’m looking to take on more students in years 10-12 for chemistry, physics and Math advance and extension 1. I just completed my HSC (2021), achieving a 95+ ATAR and was on the honor roll for Knox. I participated in the NSW schools titration competition and received academic colors. I also received a 90+ mark and a band 6 for: Mathematics advance Physics Chemistry Biology

Perfect! Liam connected very well with my daughter. At the end of the lesson, she had a good understanding of the material covered. Liam having finished with the HSC so recently is a big plus - he knows the material well and in particular the way in which it is examined.
