About Anne-Marie
I am a qualified educator with 19 years of experience in secondary and post-16 education, specializing in science and social sciences. At the GCSE level, I teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. My post-16 expertise includes teaching A-Level Biology, Psychology, and Sociology, alongside BTEC Applied Science and Health and Social Care. For the past four years, I have also served as an A-Level examiner. Throughout my career, I have held significant leadership roles, including Head of Psychology, Head of Year, Student Progress Leader, and SENDCo. Globally, I have contributed to national and international educational research projects, notably developing STEM teaching packages for the UAE via AlphaPlus and AQA. Currently, I teach English, Maths, and Science across diverse academic levels within a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) specialist provision. Having recently completed a Master’s degree in the Psychology of Human Health and Well-being, my goal is to pursue a Doctorate in Educational Psychology. I am dedicated to supporting young people in overcoming barriers and achieving their potential, regardless of their starting points or past experiences.
