About Sarah
I graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a 1st Class honours degree in Painting. Shortly after I was accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy Schools, London where I studied Fine Art and developed my painting skills. During this time I also was an exchange student at the HGB Academy, Leipzig. I have been practising as a professional artist since 2010 and was previously awarded a studio at Acme Studios in London. My paintings have been exhibited in many group and solo shows countrywide, including the British Contemporary Painting Prize, Royal Academy Summer Show and the Centre for Contemporary Art, Londonderry. Currently I am based in a city centre studio in Nottingham where I create and develop new paintings and work towards upcoming exhibitions.

With 15 years' experience as a practising artist I aim to provide each student with the practical tools and inspiration needed to develop and grow as an artist. From university portfolio applications to getting the best grade at A Level my lessons will give you the confidence and practical skills to progress in your practice. I also work with individuals looking to learn how to use oil paints or develop their skills in the most professional way. Lessons are hosted in my city centre studio with plenty of natural light and are completely bespoke and flexible. Online lessons are also available. Please note I can only offer a free lesson if booking a block of lessons.
