I am a patient teacher who is willing and able to explain what is needed in various ways. Because I am so familiar with teaching academic English, I can explain, help and reinforce grammar rules, essay writing strategies and a lot of the literature taught at the high school level in various ways depending on the student's needs.
I have experience teaching all levels of high school as well as students with special needs, such as hearing loss, so I can adapt myself to the specific needs of the student.
Building a working, enjoyable relationship between myself and the person I am tutoring is very important to achieving goals and seeing improvement.
