Find out more about James

• When did your passion for music begin?

It all started when I was five years old.

• Do agree that some instruments are harder to master and, if so, which ones?

They are all the same to master. Each has its challenges. For instance, guitars require a 2-month break in period to build up calluses on the fingers.

• In your opinion, what does it take to be a successful musician?

That supreme confidence to know what you're doing and where you're going. It takes a full plan.

• It is 2 am in your local bar; which famous musician would you most like to have a conversation with?

Paul McCartney or Joe Walsh. They are both humble.

• What is your most inspiring experience as a musician?

Playing on stage with my spouse in Music City.

• In your own opinion, what does it take to be a Superprof?

Always give more than what they ask for.

• Finally, if you had to choose a piece of music or album to play on loop for a day, what would it be?

Usually it’s whatever is on the radio in the car but lately, it’s been Van Morrison, Greta Van Fleet and Hey Violet
Or, my own album for jamming on Wireless Dreams so I can play electric to it – enjoy new ideas for playing along… sort of like a new rehearsal way of doing things.
