About Kelli
I specialize in reading instruction and intervention. I have worked as an Education and Reading Specialist at a K-5 elementary school teaching reading intervention as well as writing and math for the last 9 years. My journey as a reading interventionist began when my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia 9 years ago. I have since developed a passion for teaching students how to read and have spent countless hours educating myself on the most effective methods of teaching students how to read. I have also been fully trained in and utilize a research-based intervention program called Project Read. I began offering my services for reading intervention privately 5 years ago and have since helped and watched many students become successful readers. I believe that every student is capable of learning and that we as teachers are responsible to learn how to teach each child. Every student learns differently and it is up to us to utilize each student's strengths to their advantage. This is my passion and I look forward to helping your child reach their reading potential.
