I have a degree from QUT in Biology, I have 2 years experience as a teaching assistant in a secondary school, I have experience teaching local primary and adult students on outreach trips in Africa, helping students realise their own potential is the most rewarding part of my job.

My teaching method is designed to inspire motivation. I use colours, pictures and fun associations wherever I can and combine this with clear and concise information sheets that ensure the student is confident in their own knowledge. Each topic I approach will be learned thoroughly firstly, and then compressed and collated into a revision tool such as a poster, set of revision cards, or even a poem or a story! I encourage self-learning behaviours such as working together to create huge colourful and detailed mind-map posters for each topic and then advising students to place these in easily-seen areas for the weeks before an exam so they are reminded continually of their own vibrant understanding of the topic. I will do mock-exams with students and make fun-quizzes as a self-assessment tool for each topic they learn.
