About Suzanne
I am a qualified and experienced teacher of Economics and Business, having taught in London for 10 years. I was previously based in a leading London grammar secondary school, where I specialised in macroeconomics. My 2026 cohort achieved 80% A*-A in A-level Economics, with an average of 85% on Paper 2. I also have experience teaching Business and Economics across key stage 4 and key stage 5, with knowledge of both the Edexcel and AQA specifications. This includes teaching A-level Economics, A-level Business, and BTEC Level 3. In addition, I have experience as an Examiner for A-level Economics/Business and GCSE Business/Economics.
I currently work as an Assistant Economist, which keeps my subject knowledge grounded in real-world economic analysis

I believe strongly in supporting students to become confident and competent learners, tailoring my tutoring to suit their particular needs. My favourite part of being a teacher is seeing the progression in students, who become more proactive and engaged over time - my style of tutoring is adaptive - I tend to work out a programme of study with students based on what they want to focus on. I like to focus on exam writing as well as understanding key economic concepts and diagrams to enable students to achieve the highest possible grades.
