About Joe

Dynamic, adaptable and open-minded educator with a passion for Science and Teaching. Accomplished in my field through both practical experience and academic achievements, I come equipped with a deep scientific understanding and an intent on transferring my passion for Science to my students. Through continuous professional development I evolve effective strategies in supporting, motivating and challenging all learners in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

About the lesson

Through a scaffolded approach, I provide a range of learning resources equipped to meet and challenge my learners. For example, I use past paper questions and mark schemes at GCSE-level lessons for students to gain experience and build confidence, especially for structuring 6-mark questions. For KS3 students, I apply what I like to call a 'sticky knowledge' approach. Through varied activities I provide different resources to introduce, learn and reinforce a topic.
