About Leila
I am a dedicated and motivated MPharm pharmacist with a strong academic background in biology and clinical sciences. Throughout my degree, I have developed a deep understanding of complex scientific concepts as well as the ability to communicate them in a clear and relatable way.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their full potential and understand how challenging subjects like biology can feel, especially under exam pressure. Having recently gone through GCSEs, A-Levels and university exams myself, I am familiar with current exam techniques and expectations, which allows me to provide relevant and practical support.
I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to build confidence and independent learning skills that will benefit students long-term.

I am an MPharm pharmacist offering structured and personalised Biology tutoring for GCSE, A-Level and early university students. My teaching focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple, clear explanations to help students fully understand content rather than just memorise it.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s building foundational knowledge, improving exam technique or boosting confidence. I use active recall, exam-style questions and real-life examples to reinforce learning and ensure long-term retention.
I have strong academic experience in biology and clinical sciences, and I understand the pressure of exams, so I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
