About Asha
I’m a UK-qualified English teacher with over five years of experience in education, currently teaching at a prestigious private school in Dubai. I hold a Master’s in Secondary English Education, a BSc in Psychology and QTS, and I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
I have extensive experience supporting students with SEN and additional learning needs, alongside teaching English from KS3 through to A-Level. My background in career and employability coaching also allows me to support students with university applications, interview preparation and academic or career development.
I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, achieve their academic potential and develop the skills to become successful, independent learners.

My lessons are personalised, engaging and adapted to each student’s individual needs. I use modelling, scaffolding, guided practice, retrieval activities, exam-style questions and targeted feedback, with a particular strength in adapting lessons for SEN students.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and focus on building confidence, independence and strong exam technique.
I am a UK-qualified English teacher with QTS, a PGCE in Secondary English and a BSc in Psychology. I also have extensive SEN experience and a professional background in career and employability coaching.
I teach students from KS3 through to GCSE/iGCSE and A-Level, including both students requiring additional support and those aiming for top grades. I also offer Psychology tuition, university application guidance and interview preparation.
