About Karen
I have been a teacher for more than 25 years, a head of department and an external Examiner for Economics with the AQA board. I did have a break for a time and became an employment lawyer, but teaching is my vocation and the role that I have always loved and in which I have excelled.
I have taught thousands of students over the years and many are still in touch with me telling me of their current careers and successes that started out in my Economics A level class.
I have recently retired from my role as a teacher in an "Outstanding" sixth form college in the North West of the UK and therefore have some extra availability to take on new students

This systematic approach to lessons has a proven track record of success for all students, from those aiming for an A* to those who just need some help with the basics to ensure they achieve a good passing grade.
My online lessons are based on using an online whiteboad and PowerPoints.
