About Anastasija
I’m a dedicated K–6 math and English tutor with a strong passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically.
I have experience working with young learners and focus on creating a supportive, patient environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My approach is personalized to each child, whether they need help strengthening fundamentals, improving reading and writing skills, or gaining confidence in math.
In addition to my 4 years of tutoring experience, my educational background has given me a solid foundation in the subjects I teach. I finished my Bachelor's at the University of Toronto in Psychology then went on to finish my Master's in International Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I also bring a unique perspective—I went through tutoring myself growing up, so I understand how important it is to have someone who is encouraging, clear, and truly invested in your progress.
My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them feel more confident, capable, and motivated in school.

I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor each session to fit their needs—whether that means extra practice, breaking concepts down step-by-step, or building confidence in areas they struggle with most.
My goal isn’t just better grades, but helping students feel more confident, capable, and motivated in school.
