About Atreyee
Atreyee Bhattacharjee,born 1st February,1992,Kolkata,West Bengal.She have her B.F.A from Kala Bhavana,Santiniketan at 2010-2014 and M.F.A Gold Medalist from S.N.School of Arts & Communication,Central University of Hyderabad during 2014-2016.The successful appointment after bachelor’s degree course and for higher level experience for the subject sculpture. It has done under the supervision of Prof. Alex Mathew in practical level. The theoretical research paper was documented under the guidance of Prof. Kirtana Thangavelu at the same time. A perfect experience achieved from the course. An experience level course on Theatre Arts as an optional subject with the degree course, with excellent field work achievement.
She started her professional journey with multiple
achievements in National and International level and achieved state level award by Pondicherry Govt during stone carving workshop.She also worked in several respected institutes at Chennai in honourable positions.She versatiles her passion in as an active fine artist and performer in theatre,an active writer and Assistant Curator for ART HOUZ GALLERY,Chennai.She is also Artist Editor for Arts Illustrated,an established Art Magazine published from Chennai. Her works are under collections of DR.WILLIAM DAVID DAR,DIRECTOR OF AGRICULTURE,ICRISAT CROP INSTITUTE at HYDERABAD ,UNESCO & YASHWANT SINHA ,THE FORMER FINANCE MINISTER OF INDIA.
At the same time she curated several notable shows and participated in multiple activities.At current she designated as Assistant Professor,Hindustan University,Chennai.Her active participants appreciated in media and covered in the pages of THE HINDU,THE TIMES OF INDIA ,INDIAN EXPRESS, DECCAN CHRONICLES, DINAMALAR.IPPODHU ,SATHIYAM TV ,during multiple notable shows.
At current she is an active artist at Chennai Contemporary Art Field and engaged in several projects on Creating,Curating,Writing. She is a brilliant sculptor who continuously produces her esteemed research on Hindu ancient scripts and Mythologies and evolving modern forms in reference to classical art. She had multiple achievements during her continuous creations in sculpture.
