About Janell
Currently working at a secondary school enabling learners to progress and achieve in English & Maths. I have A level English & Maths qualifications, giving me the subject knowledge required to challenge and stretch learners.
Successfully achieved a Masters in Law at Nottingham Trent University receiving a Commendation. As a result of my level 7 studies I can teach English, maths & law to a wide range of learners.
I have a vast range of academic achievements, however I do believe the best learning occurs using interpersonal skills and building a positive rapport with a learner.

All lessons are planned and prepared using a tailored approach based on initial assessment from the first session. Progress being a fundamental focus of all lessons, ensuring all students achieve, many exceeding predicted grades. Using a range of GCSE & A Level exam resources I am able to equip learners with the preparation needed to excel during examination periods.
KS1-3 Learners are often engaged via different techniques, lessons include differentiation which engages younger students, whilst exploring a range of learning techniques. All lessons, across all ages heavily embed reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
