About Jai
I’m a Product Design and Manufacture graduate from the University of Nottingham, with an A* in GCSE Design and Technology and an A at A level. With over a year of tutoring experience, I specialise in helping students build confidence in both the theory and coursework sides of DT. My degree experience gives me deep insight into the full design process, from ideation to manufacturing and evaluation. Being neurodivergent, I bring empathy, patience, and a flexible approach to suit different learning styles. I’m here to help you strengthen your DT skills and boost your grades with creativity, strategy, and structure.

Each 1-hour lesson is personalised and split into two key areas: theory and coursework. We start with a recap and discussion, then focus on specific challenges you’re facing. For theory, lessons are discussion-based, using visuals and examples to explore materials, processes, and manufacturing techniques. For coursework, we review where you are in the design process and guide you on how to develop and present your ideas clearly and effectively. Whether you're struggling with mock exams or need support structuring your NEA, lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to help you thrive. The first session helps us identify what to focus on and how best to work together.
