About Louisa

I bring over six years of diverse teaching experience, from serving as a teaching assistant in large university courses with over 100 students at McGill University to delivering personalized one-on-one private tutoring. I've successfully taught more than 1,000 students and proudly maintain 217 five-star reviews on Outschool. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from McGill University and a Master’s in Counseling from Laval University. This foundation deeply informs my teaching, enabling me to understand and support each student's unique learning needs. Cam is our master math teacher. He holds an Honors degree in Physics from Queen’s University, an Honors degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Concordia University, and a Master of Science in Mathematics (specializing in Probability). With over six years of experience teaching both university-level courses and private lessons, he brings deep subject expertise and a passion for helping students succeed. Together, we combine my background in education and psychology with Cam’s mathematical expertise, staying up to date with the latest evidence-based teaching practices to provide highly personalized and effective lessons.

About the lesson

With 6 years of teaching experience across McGill University affiliated programs and online platforms, I've guided over 1000 students to success, earning 217+ 5-star reviews on Outschool. I founded the Chesslingo Academy organization to support learners from all ages and partnered with master teachers in targeted topics.

Together with our Math master teacher Cam, we typically start the first lesson by assessing your needs and math level before designing a tailored study plan together. This way we can both work toward your learning goal, whether it is to prep for a test or simply to improve your school performance.
