About Dr Umar Hayat
Since my doctorate in 1983, I have detailed knowledge and experience in science mainly in chemistry coupled with a wide cross-disciplinary experience in a variety of scientific fields in both academic and industrial establishments. I have led a wide range of successful projects in conjunction with industrial partners, supervised staff and liaised with Centres of Excellence and Customers. The publications credited to me give evidence of my innovative and creative abilities.
During my career progression, I have tutored students of all abilities at different levels ranging from secondary school to University.

My style of teaching is a unique one to one basis by developing a confidence between Tutor and Tutee on the related subject. The best approach of learning is from first principle and fundamental concepts. Each session will be tailored by communication with the tutee to best understand the basics of a concept that it becomes easier to grasp more complicated ideas and hence apply to exam questions.
All my sessions will be planned with structured materials ensuring particularly the tutee gets the most value of the time together online.
