Lessons are 30 minutes long. $11/student (max 4 students) 3 Separate classes: Heggerty phonics - a fun way of learning lots of different sounds, chopping up words and blending them together to make reading easier. Structured Literacy Class - Structured ongoing lessons learning the sounds and characters of all sounds, ranges from simple single letter sounds to complex 2/3 letter sounds. The objective is to learn to read. As sounds become more complex there is a greater focus on spelling. Lessons are foundational skills for reading and the programs used in most NZ and Australian schools. Mixed Class: A mix of both programs together. Helping students use their Heggerty skills in their reading and spelling.
