About Bonnie

Hi! My name is Bonnie and I’m a Primary School Teacher in Bristol, England.
I'm from New Zealand and I have been a teacher for nine years. I have a love of travel and exploring other cultures so I have taught in three countries - New Zealand, Vanuatu, and England. I enjoy making learning individual, positive, engaging, purposeful and fun.
I have particular expertise in Teaching children with Dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, as well as English Language Learners.

I look forward to chatting with you about how I can help you and your child soon!

About the lesson

I provide 1-1 private Literacy tutoring for students of Primary age.

I am highly experienced and I have a strong knowledge of effective teaching approaches across all Literacy areas. All of my lessons are based on the English Primary Curriculum and full of a range of personalised tasks and activities to keep my students engaged.

A typical lesson structure is:

- Catch Up and Review of last lesson
- Introducing new Learning e.g. sounds, skills, spelling words, writing, reading
- Practising new learning
- Lesson Review
- Game
