About Anna Louisa
My name is Anna, I am a preservice primary school teacher. I am completing teaching placements, where I am currently loving the opportunity to teach children reading and writing skills. I have worked alongside excellent teachers, observing their teaching strategies, in order to use in my own teaching. I am currently studying at The University of Melbourne, where I am learning evidence based teaching methods to help children learn. I am looking to offer my experience, learning and time to any child who needs extra support in learning English skills.

I use evidenced based teaching strategies to teach literacy and language skills. I know the Victorian Curriculum and Australian Curriculum English learning standards and can teach to them. I have a passionate for teaching children to read and write. I believe every child has prior knowledge they can use to help develop their literacy and language skills. I want to foster a love for reading books and writing their own creative texts to teach writing skills. I believe everyone has the ability to improve and develop their English skills, so long as they are given the right support in practising them. Lessons are negotiable in length and style, depending upon a students' individual needs.
