About Ebony
develop in the early years. I also have three animals and enjoy creating a warm, caring, and nurturing environment.
I have a genuine love for working with children and a strong passion for early childhood education. I believe the early years are a crucial time for building confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude toward learning. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s individual needs.
I’m currently working toward a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching and enjoy supporting young learners as they grow, learn, and succeed.

My tutoring approach is child-centred, supportive, and based on current early childhood education practices. I focus on building a strong foundation by breaking learning into small, manageable steps and using positive encouragement to build confidence.
I use a mix of:
Explicit teaching (clear explanations and modelling)
Hands-on activities and visual supports
Play-based and inquiry-based learning where appropriate
Regular check-ins to ensure understanding
Lessons are adapted to each child’s learning style, pace, and goals. I aim to make learning engaging, low-pressure, and enjoyable while still achieving clear learning outcomes.
Typical lesson length
30 minutes (ideal for younger children or beginners)
45–60 minutes for primary school students
Lesson length can be adjusted depending on the child’s age, attention span, and learning needs.
Qualifications & experience
Currently studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching
Knowledge of early literacy, numeracy, and child development
Experience supporting children with school readiness, homework, and foundational skills
Understanding of the Australian Curriculum and early learning frameworks
