About Kagiso
I am a Plant Ecologist with an academic background in Ecology, Biogeography, Palaeontology, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, amongst other academic experiences. Currently a Master's candidate at the University of Cape Town. I have experience in tutoring Grade 12 learners in Life Sciences with the guidance of senior tutors. I offer tutoring services in Life Science up to Grade 12 and Grade 10 Physical Sciences and Mathematics.

I engage with the learner to find out their least strong points. After establishing the learner's least strong points, I approach the topic by giving broad overview of what the topic is, its importance and how sub-topics within that topic are related. I use mind-maps to simplify and integrate some of the important yet challenging aspects of the said topic.
After a topic has been covered, I open a discussion for learners to tell what they've learnt and understand from the topic then add on to what they might have missed and/or correct some misconceptions that they might express.
