About Alexander
I am a First Year Undergraduate studying physics at Edinburgh University. I have a passion for the problem solving and mathematical side of physics and I achieved 9 9s and 2 8s in GCSEs and 4A* (Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry) at A level. I volunteered as a maths and a chemistry mentor for 4 years at my school and really enjoy helping students to understand tricky concepts/questions.

I offer lessons ranging from 45 minutes to 2 hours. I believe in lots of past paper questions and using questions as the basis to learn. If it is a concept that they struggle with then I use lots of diagrams and demonstrations to ensure full understanding. I was a maths and chemistry mentor at my school and achieved 4 A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A level. I target lessons at anyone at GCSE level or below and all lessons would be online.
