About Gretchen

I hold a BSc in Space and Planetary Science and have been tutoring Physics for over five years. Most of my work focuses on guiding students through IGCSE and A-Level Physics. I use a mix of methods to support learning: detailed derivations, practical experiments, and plenty of past paper practice. Mechanics, electricity, and waves are my areas of expertise, though I cover the full curriculum. I emphasize the importance of truly understanding principles rather than just memorizing formulas. About the lesson

I also encourage lots of past paper practice to strengthen exam technique. My feedback is consistent and constructive, ensuring students know how to improve. I place special emphasis on understanding energy, since it connects so many areas of Physics. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s pace. I believe in building a supportive environment where no question is too small. With the right guidance, students can turn challenges into strengths and achieve excellence.
