About Mittal

I have a PhD in Philological and Literary, Historical and Cultural Studies from the University of Cagliari (Italy). I have lived in four countries, studied in 3 languages and speak 5 languages. I am passionate about the nuances of communication across multiple languages and exploring tricks for self-learning.

***I am currently traveling so please excuse any delays in response time. Commitment to lessons scheduled will not be affected.

About the lesson

I offer English language practice sessions for those looking to crack the English language for their minds or seeking to touch up on their skills. My approach focuses on tricks to navigate the gap between the native language and the target language and how to use Google Translate to facilitate on-the-go communication in the target language. Lessons feature one class weekly via Skype with curated discussions on specific topics via chat during the week. I am available for beginner (A1-A2) to intermediate learners (B1-B2) who want to advance their language skills. Special groups will be formed if you can bring others who would like to practice.

I also offer affordable proofreading services for those on a tight budget.

I met Mittal during her phD in Italy. She is a friendly person to talk about many interesting topics. She is an amazing teacher!
Although I was not a native speaker it was easy for me to learn and improve my speaking. He has a lot of patience and makes you feel comfortable.
I can only recommend her!

Mittal and I have been colleagues for approximately 4 years by now. During these years she has always been very generous with her time, helping me on several aspects of Sanskrit grammar. She stands out for her ability to combine mastery of Sanskrit grammar with deep knowledge of the problems associated with traditional and modern-day approaches to language teaching, as witnessed by her remarkable research experience, including her Ph.D. dissertation and publications. This contributes to her teaching being high-quality, well-structured, effective. However, what impressed me most about Mittal is her empathy, which allows her to connect with her interlocutors (be they students, colleagues, or professors). All in all, learning from her is not only a very rewarding experience, but a lot of fun as well. I definitely recommend her to the other Superprof members!
