About Razi
PhD Physics & Astronomy Tutor | University-Level Physics, Astrophysics & Mathematics
Need help with physics, advanced mathematics, or a challenging university course? I'm here to help!
Hello! I hold a PhD in Physics and Astronomy and have postdoctoral research experience at leading academic institutions in the United States and abroad. I have also served as a teaching assistant at leading universities, gaining valuable experience supporting students in understanding challenging scientific concepts.
I'm passionate about teaching and helping students develop a deeper understanding of the subjects they study. My goal is to make complicated ideas easier to understand through clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and personalized lessons tailored to your needs.
Subjects I Teach
Classical Mechanics: Newtonian mechanics, oscillations, rotational dynamics, Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics.
Electromagnetism (E&M): Electric and magnetic fields, electrostatics, Gauss's law, Maxwell's equations, and electromagnetic waves.
Quantum Mechanics: Wave functions, Schrödinger's equation, operators, angular momentum, and quantum systems.
General Relativity: Spacetime, curved geometry, Einstein's field equations, and black holes.
Astrophysics & Cosmology: Stars, galaxies, the expanding universe, dark matter, dark energy, and the early universe.
Particle Physics: Fundamental particles, interactions, symmetries, and the Standard Model.
Mathematics for Physics: Calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, vector calculus, and mathematical methods.
How I Can Help You
Understand difficult concepts from your lectures.
Work through challenging homework and problem sets.
Prepare for midterms, finals, and other examinations.
Master mathematical derivations and problem-solving techniques.
Strengthen your foundations for advanced physics courses.
Explore fascinating scientific ideas beyond the classroom.
My Teaching Approach
I believe that understanding is far more valuable than memorization. I focus on explaining not only how to solve a problem, but also why a particular method works.
My lessons are interactive, patient, and adapted to your background, learning pace, and academic goals. I encourage questions and discussion, and I aim to create a supportive environment where you can build confidence and develop independent problem-solving skills.
Whether you're taking an introductory physics course, studying advanced theoretical physics, preparing for an important exam, or simply curious about the universe, I'd be happy to help.
