I’ve taught all levels of English to students of many backgrounds and ages. My PhD is in Creative Writing and English Literature, ranging from the ancients to the moderns. I have advanced skills and techniques to assist you in your literary journey. I am a firm believer in research, reading, and revision as part of the writing process and will provide you with tools and materials to advance your skills in these areas. At one point in my 18-year teaching career, I founded a Writing Center at a major liberal arts college. I believe in the Oxford Comma and all things related to logical writing. I also enjoy the creative process and blog regularly to keep my own authorship fresh.
