About Anthony

Hello!

Music is a vital part of my life and has been ever since I picked up a guitar at ten years old! I began taking private guitar lessons soon after that, and my love for playing and making music grew more and more!

I went on to get a Bachelor's degree in Music Studies, and then a Master's and PhD in Music Composition.

Since I began music as a child, I have never stopped playing and composing my own music. Now, I also play banjo and sing! It is my deepest passion, and I am always learning and practicing new things!

About the lesson

-My teaching methods include guided listening. I tailor my materials to the student's needs and we go at the pace that the student needs. The materials will be a mix of my own and selections by the student based on their individual interests.

-A typical lesson will include a mix of playing, singing, and discussion. I emphasize the importance of both practical and theoretical knowledge.

-I have a wide range of musical skills and experience, which I received from being active as a vocalist, guitarist, banjoist, and composer. I have advanced skill levels in both the theoretical domain and the practical domain.

-I teach people of all levels, from beginner to advanced.
